Role & responsibilities
- The Storage Engineer is responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and ensuring the health, performance, and cost-efficiency of global storage infrastructure.
- The role focuses on managing NetApp NAS, IBM SAN, VMware vSAN, and related storage technologies, including provisioning, replication, DR, and troubleshooting.
- Key responsibilities include capacity management, storage audits, performance analysis, incident resolution, and identifying optimization opportunities.
- The engineer will collaborate with internal teams, architects, delivery managers, and external partners.
- Strong experience with tools such as ActiveIQ, OCUM, BlueXP, VROPS/Aria Operations, VMware vCenter, Excel, Power BI, and Rocket TE is required.
- Candidates should have 5+ years of storage infrastructure experience, with robust knowledge of NetApp, SAN/NAS, backup & recovery, DR, ILM/SRM, and hybrid/cloud storage.
