Job Description: Inside Sales Engineer

Position’s overall objective:

The overall objective of the Engineer is to grow the business by helping customers and prospects, in the

region to achieve their goals and provide them a positive buying experience. Prepare sales strategy in

designated area and acquire new customers. Achieve sales as per sales forecast, tracking of payment and

ensure timely payment from customers.

Primary responsibility:
- Analyse the customer’s technical specification, understand the customer requirement such as design

specification and prepare the technical compliance and techno-commercial offer.
- Prepare growth strategy for the region, execute and monitor results achieved.
- Pro-actively research the market, identify, and contact targeted prospects and covert these into

prominent Key Accounts
- Meeting Sales target and timely collections of payment as per the agreed Purchase orders terms.
- Maintaining relationships with key clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and





anticipating new marketing opportunities and generating new inquiries.
- Preparation of tender documents and submission of tender (offline as well as online)
- Retain and expand business at existing accounts by ensuring they are satisfied; see the value we provide

and through strong relations help them achieve their goals.
- Develop offer proposals that are accordance with the customer and/or distributor needs including

defining contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Provide customer and market insights to relevant functions internally such as forecast data, customer

complaints, new success cases, etc.

- Make and sign quotations within limits stated as per official regulations.
- Perform business negotiations and sign orders within limits stated as per official regulations.
- List in order of priority which applications and customers should be approached.
