YouTube Channel Intern

Type: [Full-time / Internship] [Duration - 6 to 9 months]

ZigMe needs someone to own our YouTube channel end-to-end not just uploading videos, but making sure the channel grows with a transparent strategy, consistent publishing, and content that's optimized to actually get discovered and watched.

Who we're looking for
- Understands how YouTube works — algorithm basics, SEO, thumbnails, titles, watch time, retention
- Organized and consistent — can maintain a regular upload schedule without things slipping
- Comfortable with YouTube Studio (analytics, scheduling, community tab, etc.)
- Good sense of what content performs (shorts vs long-form, trends, audience behavior)
- Bonus: basic editing skills or ability to coordinate closely with the video editing team
- Bonus: copywriting skills for titles, descriptions, and community posts

What you'll do




- Own the YouTube content calendar and ensure consistent, on-time uploads
- Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for discoverability
- Coordinate with the video editing and podcast/content teams to keep a steady content pipeline
- Track channel analytics (views, watch time, subscriber growth, CTR) and report regularly
- Manage community engagement — comments, community tab posts, pinned comments
- Repurpose long-form content into Shorts to maximize reach
- Stay on top of YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and competitor channels for ideas
