About the Role

Can you make people stop scrolling?

Dedcell Security is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who understands Gen-Z content, internet culture, trends, memes, storytelling, and what actually gets attention online.

We’re not looking for someone who just knows how to schedule posts.

We want someone who can look at a boring cybersecurity topic and say:

“Yeah… but what if we made THIS?”

You’ll help us build Dedcell Security’s presence across Instagram and LinkedIn through content that is creative, relatable, informative, and impossible to ignore.

What You'll Do
- Create Gen-Z-focused Instagram carousels, Reels, memes, and short-form content
- Create engaging LinkedIn content without making it feel like a boring corporate post
- Turn cybersecurity and technology topics into relatable, entertaining, and easy-to-understand content
- Follow internet trends, memes, formats, sounds, hooks, and emerging content styles
- Come up with creative content ideas and experiment with different formats
- Help manage Dedcell Security's Instagram and LinkedIn presence




- Analyze reach, engagement, views, shares, saves, and follower growth
- Understand why something worked — or completely flopped
- Continuously test current ideas and improve our content strategy
- Help build a recognizable online identity for a cybersecurity brand

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Lives on the internet
- Understands Gen-Z humor, memes, trends, and online culture
- Has a natural sense of what is shareable and what isn't
- Can write a good hook instead of starting with *“In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape…”*
- Thinks creatively and isn't afraid to experiment
- Understands Instagram and LinkedIn content
- Can turn complex topics into simple, engaging stories
- Is comfortable using tools like Canva, CapCut, Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools
- Is consistent, proactive, and willing to take ownership
- Has a portfolio, personal page, meme page, or previous content — that's a plus,
