Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop IBVS/PBVS, LOS guidance, Proportional Navigation (PN), target tracking, and predictive tracking algorithms.
- Design and tune PID, LQR, MPC, adaptive, feed-forward, and cascaded control systems.
- Develop stabilization and tracking algorithms for 2/3-axis EO/IR gimbals and precision platforms.
- Implement sensor fusion and state estimation using cameras, IMUs, gyros, and encoders.
- Develop motion prediction and latency compensation algorithms.
- Implement and optimize real-time algorithms on Jetson, STM32, ARM, and similar platforms with 1001000 Hz control loops.
- Perform system modelling, simulation, controller tuning, system identification, and hardware/field validation.
- Integrate motors, encoders, IMUs, servo drives, and communication interfaces.
- Work closely with embedded, mechanical, optics, computer vision, and systems teams.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Control Systems, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics,
Aerospace, or related fields.
Required Skills
- Robust fundamentals in Control Systems, GNC, robotics, or aerospace.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with OpenCV, Eigen, NumPy, and SciPy.
- Knowledge of Kalman Filter/EKF, camera geometry, sensor fusion, and computer vision.
- Hands-on experience with embedded real-time systems and Git.
- Experience with servo tuning, stabilization, and precision motion control.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink. Preferred Skills
- Experience with UAVs, GNC, EO/IR payloads, or autonomous systems.
- Exposure to PX4/ArduPilot.
- Experience with BLDC/torque motors, encoders, IMUs, FOG/MEMS gyros.
- Experience with STM32/TI C2000/NXP/Jetson platforms.
- Defence, aerospace, robotics, or high-precision motion-control experience.
