About the role
This is a social intelligence role. You won't be managing handles, planning content calendars, or reporting on engagement rates for a client's page. You'll be studying what people say publicly - on X, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, news comments, regional-language forums - and turning that into a explicit read on what's actually happening: what people believe, what's shifting, who's driving it, and what it means.
Much of our work sits close to politics, policy and public discourse. If tracking how a narrative forms and spreads sounds more interesting than tracking a campaign's reach, this will suit you.

What you'll do
- Run sentiment analysis on large volumes of public social conversation, and interpret it - beyond positive/negative/neutral buckets
- Design and execute other forms of analysis as the question demands: narrative and theme tracking, share of voice, influencer and amplifier mapping,



network/community clustering, geographic and language-wise breakdowns, spike and event analysis, misinformation and coordinated-behaviour detection
- Build and refine Boolean queries, keyword sets and dashboards; own data quality, including noise removal and bot/spam filtering
- Move from data to insight - the deliverable is the "so what," not the chart
- Write and present findings to internal teams and clients: short reads, deep dives, periodic trackers
- Track ongoing political, policy and news developments and flag what's worth watching before someone asks

What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years in social listening, social intelligence, media research, digital analytics or a comparable research role
- Hands-on experience with Meltwater, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, or similar listening platforms - comfortable building queries, not just pulling standard reports
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data
