Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary School Principal to lead Aga Khan School, Chitravad. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic leadership, operational management skills, and a deep commitment to child-centered education.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership
- Ensure high academic standards and student achievement.
- Lead curriculum planning and instructional strategies aligned with AKESI’s philosophy.
- Supervise teaching methods, lesson plans, and classroom delivery.
- Drive assessment systems (formative & summative) and data-driven decision-making.




- Encourage teacher professional development and continuous learning.

Administration & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, school budget, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Education Department & Board norms).
- Supervise administrative, finance, maintenance, and support functions.
- Maintain records, safety standards, and reporting systems.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and community members.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication.
- Represent the school in local networks and community forums.

Safety & Welfare
- Ensure a secure, inclusive, and positive environment for students and staff.
- Implement child protection and emergency response procedures.

Candidate Profile

Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed (mandatory).
