Job Title: Special Educator

Location: Aga Khan School, Mundra, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and support students with diverse learning needs, including learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special educational needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessments to meet students' needs.
- Guide teachers on inclusive classroom practices and appropriate accommodations.
- Work closely with parents to provide regular updates and strategies to support learning at home.
- Coordinate with counsellors, therapists, and external professionals whenever required.
- Promote an inclusive, supportive, and student-centered learning setting.
- Stay updated with inclusive education practices, CBSE guidelines,



and relevant educational policies.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a relevant field.
- B.Ed. (Special Education) or Diploma in Special Education (recognized by the appropriate regulatory authority).
- Valid registration with the relevant professional body, where applicable.
- Minimum 25 years of experience as a Special Educator, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Sound knowledge of inclusive education, learning disabilities, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
