Roles and Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for machining projects based on customer requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with production team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate better rates for raw materials and components.
- Analyze market trends and industry standards to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
Job Requirements :
- 3-8 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering or Aerospace industry.
- Robust understanding of costing principles, including estimating techniques and budget management.
- Proficiency in preparing quotes (RFQ) documents for machining services.
- Knowledge of machine shop operations, including machinery maintenance, repair, and replacement.
