Job Description – Academic Coordinator (middle school grades 6 to 8)
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Academic Coordinator to oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, teacher coordination, and student learning outcomes. The candidate should have solid leadership, communication, and academic management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the overall academic activities of the school and ensure timely curriculum implementation.
- Prepare and monitor academic calendars, timetables, lesson plans, assessments, examinations, and academic schedules.
- Mentor and support teachers through classroom observations, academic reviews, feedback, and professional development.
- Monitor syllabus completion, teaching-learning practices, student attendance, and academic performance.
- Analyse examination results and student performance data and implement improvement strategies.
- Coordinate with the Principal, teachers,
and other departments for smooth academic functioning.
- Conduct academic meetings, teacher training programmes, workshops, and orientation sessions.
- Handle academic-related parent interactions and resolve student/parent concerns professionally.
- Maintain academic records, reports, documentation, and ensure compliance with school policies and CBSE guidelines.
Eligibility
- Master's degree with B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably with academic coordination/leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, academic planning, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, team-management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in Bengaluru schools and strong knowledge of CBSE academic processes will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
