About the Role

We are a leading export house catering to top global buyers in Europe & the USA. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and result-oriented Head of HR & Compliance to lead our HR and Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Audits: End-to-end management of Social, Environmental, and Technical Audits including SEDEX / SMETA, SA 8000, ISO, C-TPAT, and Buyer-specific Code of Conduct (CoC) audits.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the existing HR, Payroll, and Compliance team to drive high performance and operational excellence.

Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to Factory Act, PF, ESI, PCB, and all local labour laws.

Policy & Operations: Implement robust HR policies, performance management systems (PMS), and workforce engagement strategies.

Buyer Liaison: Act as the primary lead for external audit agencies and buyer compliance representatives.

Key Requirements





Experience: 10–15+ years in HR & Compliance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a major Export House.

Expertise: Proven track record of successfully clearing SA 8000, SEDEX, and international buyer audits with zero critical non-compliances.

Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team-management skills.
