Job Purpose:
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and protected operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the mine. This role ensures that all electrical work is conducted in compliance with the Coal Mines Regulation of 2017, maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. The Electrical Foreman coordinates with engineers, technicians,



and mine management to implement electrical projects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous power supply to support mining operations.

Responsibilities
Electrical Foreman - Coal Mining
Installation And Maintenance Of Electrical Systems
Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Ensure all installations are properly documented and certified as per regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical equipment and systems.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.

Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and effective resolution of electrical problems.
