Key Responsibilities of Project Safety Leader
- Ensure secure execution of excavation, foundation, and RCC construction activities.
- Monitor compliance during plinth beam, backfilling, and compaction works.
- Supervise safety aspects of RCC columns, beams, and slab construction.
- Ensure safe receipt, unloading, inspection, and storage of equipment.
- Review and approve equipment shifting routes and movement plans.
- Verify fitness and certification of cranes, hydras, and lifting accessories.
- Lead safety management of lifting, rigging, and equipment erection activities.
- Coordinate and control risks arising from multiple contractor activities (SIMOPS).
- Ensure safe equipment positioning, alignment, and temporary securing.
- Monitor equipment installation and removal of packing/wooden supports.
- Ensure safe installation of utility and process piping systems.
- Enforce hot work safety requirements during welding and gas-cutting activities.
