Key Responsibilities
- Implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at the project site.
- Conduct regular
site safety inspections
and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Conduct
HIRA, JSA, risk assessments
, and support method statement reviews.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, electrical work, lifting, excavation, and confined-space activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of
Permit-to-Work (PTW)
systems.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare and maintain safety inspection and incident reports.
- Track corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
- Conduct emergency preparedness activities and mock drills.
- Ensure availability and proper use of firefighting and emergency equipment.
- Coordinate with site management, contractors, vendors, and client HSE teams.
- Maintain HSE documentation, registers, checklists, and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and client HSE requirements.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety
preferred.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / Fire & Safety certification will be an added advantage.
