Role & responsibilities
- Manage overall store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Ensure timely dispatch of materials/products as per production and customer schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic stock verification, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate transactions and record-keeping in ERP/SAP systems.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Logistics, and Quality teams for smooth material flow.
- Monitor warehouse housekeeping and ensure compliance with 5S, safety, and audit requirements.
- Manage transportation, vehicle planning, and dispatch documentation.
- Analyze inventory and dispatch KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop store and dispatch team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and customer-specific guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile




- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 6-12 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Dispatch, and SCM operations within the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, material handling, and dispatch planning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP systems and inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and warehouse best practices.
- Experience in handling stock audits, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Good understanding of logistics coordination, transportation management, and documentation.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven team handling and leadership experience.
- Preference for candidates with experience in Tier-1 automotive manufacturing companies.
