We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, bank coordination, ISO compliance audits, and inventory reporting.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform regular GSTR-2B reconciliations. Ensure accurate calculation, deduction, and timely deposit of TDS and other statutory liabilities.
• Assist in planning and executing internal, financial, and ISO compliance audits. Maintain necessary documentation and records to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS). Act as the primary point of contact for bank officials regarding documentation, operational queries, and routine banking facilities.
• Process payroll, verify attendance records, and oversee timely salary disbursements. Manage statutory payroll deductions, including PF, ESI, and Professional Tax.
• Maintain, update,
and reconcile physical inventory data with accounting records. Prepare periodic stock statements for internal audits and management review.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and daily ledger entries. Assist in month-end closing procedures, financial reporting, and balance sheet preparation.
Requirements
• 4 to 8 years of proven experience managing end-to-end accounting processes, GST filing, payroll, inventory reconciliation, and audit management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Finance, or a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP 9), Zoho Books, or similar enterprise accounting software.
• Advanced command of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
Preferred Skills
• Regional language proficiency (Tamil/Malayalam) is a robust plus.
