About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong Python skills and practical knowledge of SASE and network-security platforms.
You will develop integrations with multiple SASE vendors, understand their configuration and policy models, and represent the underlying security intent through vendor-neutral data models and automated workflows.
This is a software engineering and security integration rolenot a security operations position.
Key responsibilities
Analyse the configuration, object and policy models of different SASE vendors.
Understand security intent and translate it into vendor-neutral data models.
Develop and maintain vendor integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
Build reusable Python connectors, adapters and workflow components.
Implement configuration discovery, provisioning, validation and policy automation.
Normalise vendor-specific API responses into common data models.
Handle authentication, pagination,



API errors and vendor-specific limitations.
Write clean, modular and testable Python code.
Document vendor models, API behaviour and integration capabilities.
Work with security specialists and vendor teams to support new features and API changes.
Required skills
58 years of software engineering, security automation or integration experience.
Solid Python development skills.
Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, JSON, YAML and API authentication.
Familiarity with at least two platforms such as Fortinet, Netskope, Zscaler, Cato Networks or Palo Alto Networks.
Good understanding of security intent, security policies and configuration objects.
Familiarity with SASE capabilities such as SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS and DLP.
Ability to understand and compare different vendor configuration models.
Experience with object-oriented design, data transformation and reusable integration patterns.
Experience with Git, Docker
