Amentum is seeking an NGIS Warehouse Specialist to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The NGIS Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the facility storage plan, disposal preparation, shipping procedures, personal computer operation and the protected operation of warehouse equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse facility.
- Review and verify the accuracy of the daily receiving report/shipping log.
- Remove material from storage and prepare for shipment.




- Advise and assist supervisors on reporting discrepancies and obvious damages upon inspection of material.
- Store, stack or palletize materials in preparation for storage and/or shipment.
- Provide leadership and training to the Warehouseman.
- File all paperwork per documented procedures.
- Enforce safety practices and environmental safety.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four (4) years’ experience in a warehouse required.
- Operation of hand or power trucks including forklifts in performing warehousing duties.
- Advanced knowledge or experience in the handling and management of Government Furnished Property (GFP).
- Familiar with the army regulation FAR 52.245-1.
- Familiar with DLA/DS processes and DCMA ETOOLs
- Knowledge regarding the operation of a personal computer using M
