Role & responsibilities
- Operate and set up VMC machines and conventional lathe/turning machines.
- Perform machining operations such as turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, and milling
- Load/unload components and ensure correct fixture and tool setup
- Set tool offsets and make basic program corrections in VMC if required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and process sheets
- Measure and inspect components using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality standards
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
- Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure proper machine condition
- Follow safety guidelines, 5S, and company SOPs
- Report machine issues,



tool wear, or quality concerns to the supervisor

Required candidate Skill
- Hands-on experience in VMC operations and turning machines
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining processes
- Familiarity with G-codes and M-codes (preferred)
- Robust understanding of quality control and inspection methods
- Ability to work independently and in shifts if required.

Qualification:

ITI (Turner / Machinist / Fitter)

Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering (preferred)
