Job Description Plant Head (CNC & Bandsaw)
- Overall responsibility for plant production and day-to-day operations.
- Plan and achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
- Manage CNC machining and bandsaw cutting operations.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, inserts, offsets and machining parameters.
- Optimize cycle time, machine utilization and productivity.
- Monitor bandsaw blade selection, cutting parameters and material wastage.
- Troubleshoot CNC, bandsaw and production-related problems.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to minimize downtime and rejection.
- Manage operators, setters and production manpower.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance, safety and 5S.
- Control tooling, consumables and production costs.
- Monitor daily production, downtime, rejection and productivity KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Preferably experienced in heavy engineering / oil & gas / API manufacturing.
