Senior Mentor – Culinary

Eligibility
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts
- Industry experience preferred
- Solid practical knowledge of culinary operations and professional kitchen practices

Job Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide students in culinary arts as per the CTH curriculum and academic standards.
- Conduct practical culinary training and demonstrate professional cooking techniques.
- Train students in basic to advanced culinary skills, kitchen operations, food preparation, presentation, and plating.
- Cover the practical requirements of the CTH syllabus through structured demonstrations and hands-on training.
- Develop students' knowledge of international cuisines, culinary techniques, kitchen safety, hygiene, and food standards.
- Plan and conduct practical sessions, assessments, skill demonstrations, and student evaluations.
- Monitor students' individual performance and provide regular guidance and feedback.
- Prepare students for CTH examinations and practical assessments.




- Introduce students to current hospitality industry trends, professional kitchen standards, and career opportunities.
- Maintain a professional and disciplined learning environment in the training kitchen.
- Coordinate with the academic team to ensure timely completion of the CTH syllabus and practical modules.
- Support students in building confidence, creativity, presentation skills, and professional kitchen discipline.
- Assist the institute in workshops, culinary events, industry visits, guest sessions, and other academic activities.
- Encourage students to develop industry-ready skills and prepare them for internships and future employment.
- Maintain proper records of practical sessions, student progress, assessments, and academic activities.
