Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Admissions to lead the student conversion team from offer acceptance to final enrollment. The role involves managing counsellors, driving conversions, coaching the team, and ensuring a solid student and parent experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in academic counselling, EdTech sales, admissions, or consultative B2C sales, along with strong team management and sales leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team responsible for the post-offer conversion journey.
- Set targets, track performance, and drive enrollment and conversion goals.
- Coach the team on counselling, objection handling, follow-ups, and closing.
- Monitor conversion metrics and identify performance gaps.
- Support the team in handling complex student/parent conversations and objections.
- Ensure structured follow-ups and consistent funnel movement.




- Identify conversion bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Own team performance, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in academic counselling, EdTech sales, admissions, student recruitment, or consultative B2C sales.
- Prior experience in team handling, people management, or sales leadership.
- Experience as a Senior Academic Counsellor, Team Lead, Admissions Manager, Assistant Program Manager, Senior Counsellor, or Head of Admissions.
- Strong exposure to parent-led or family-influenced decision-making.
- Candidates from premium education institutions or EdTech companies preferred.
- Open to candidates with high-ticket, consultative B2C sales and team management experience from other industries.
