Job Title: Category Manager

Role Objective

The Category Manager is responsible for driving net sales growth, profitability, visibility, and

customer experience for the assigned portfolio by owning end-to-end category performance across

sales, traffic, conversion, availability, advertising efficiency, NPD performance, and customer ratings,

against defined targets (TGTs).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

 Own Target vs Actual Net Sales for the category and ensure achievement of monthly,

quarterly, and annual sales targets.

 Monitor TGT Tacos vs Actual Tacos to improve transaction velocity through pricing,

promotions, and assortment actions.

 Identify sales gaps and execute corrective actions through assortment optimization, deal

planning, and demand forecasting.

2. Advertising & Marketing Effectiveness

 Own TGT Ad Spends vs Actual Ad Spends with a focus on ROI, efficiency, and scalability.

 Plan and optimize performance marketing campaigns to drive incremental traffic and

conversions while maintaining efficiency benchmarks.





 Continuously analyze ad performance and reallocate spends to high-performing ASINs.

3. Current Product Development (NPD) Performance

 Drive TGT NPD Clicks per Day per ASIN vs Actual NPD Clicks through launch readiness,

content quality, and visibility levers.

 Ensure achievement of TGT NPD Conversion % vs Actual Conversion % by optimizing pricing,

reviews, A+ content, and customer feedback loops.

 Own post-launch tracking and course correction for underperforming NPDs.

4. Visibility & Traffic Growth

 Deliver TGT Visibility Clicks vs Actual Visibility Clicks by improving search ranking, keyword

strategy, deals participation, and content optimization.

 Work cross-functionally to maximize organic and paid discoverability across the platform.

5. Supply Chain & Customer Promise

 Ensure high serviceability by achieving TGT % of ASINs in (T+1) Delivery vs Actual through

proactive inventory planning and
