Role Purpose : Drive efficient execution of production and planning for primary packaging machinery by ensuring on-time delivery of customized equipment (filling, capping, labeling, sealing systems) with high quality and cost efficiency. The role ensures robust coordination between Design, Assembly, Procurement, Quality and Service Teams to deliver engineered-to-order and standard machines in line with customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Production
- Assist in planning, organizing and controlling daily production operations to achieve output targets in terms of quality, productivity and delivery timelines
- Ensure smooth execution of production schedules for customized primary packaging machines
- Coordinate closely with Design, Assembly and Quality teams to meet technical specifications and customer requirements
- Monitor and control key cost drivers such as scrap,



rework, machine downtime and energy consumption
- Track and analyze Plant MIS to ensure adherence to production targets and cost budgets
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards on the shop floor

Planning
- Support production planning activities including material planning, capacity planning, and scheduling
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machines, materials) to reduce manufacturing costs
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams for timely availability of raw materials and bought-out components
- Ensure effective inventory management to reduce carrying costs and avoid stock-outs
- Assist in developing production plans aligned with order priorities and delivery commitments
