Role & responsibilities :

To support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, vendor coordination, documentation, and timely procurement of materials and services while ensuring compliance with company policies and cost-effective purchasing practices.

Preferred candidate profile :
- Assist in the procurement of construction materials, consumables, equipment, and services as per approved purchase requisitions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
- Identify and communicate with potential vendors and obtain quotations.
- Prepare comparative statements and assist in evaluating quotations based on price, quality, specifications, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Support the preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (POs) after necessary approvals.
- Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, delivery schedules, invoices, and other required documents.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, purchase orders, quotations, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Stores, Projects, Finance,



and Accounts teams for material receipt and invoice processing.
- Assist in vendor registration, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
- Track pending purchase orders and provide regular status updates to the reporting manager.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and approved processes.
- Support the team in cost comparison, market research, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare procurement MIS, trackers, and periodic reports.

Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering will be preferred.

Experience
- 2-6 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management.
- Experience in the real estate, construction, or infrastructure industry will be an advantage.
