Job Purpose
The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships for custom sheet metal fabrication and engineering projects. The role involves understanding customer drawings and technical requirements, coordinating with design, estimation, production, and quality teams, preparing techno-commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful project execution from enquiry to delivery.
The position acts as the primary interface between customers and internal departments to deliver value-added engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify recent customers in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Railway, Defence, Renewable Energy, Industrial Equipment, Material Handling, and General Engineering sectors.
- Generate enquiries for sheet metal components, fabricated assemblies,



welded structures, and engineering projects.
- Develop new OEM and Tier-1 customer accounts.
- Build long-term business relationships with key decision-makers.

Customer Engagement
- Visit customers to understand manufacturing requirements and future business opportunities.
- Analyze customer drawings, specifications, BOMs, and RFQs.
- Understand technical requirements and recommend the most suitable manufacturing process.
- Coordinate customer visits, technical discussions, and project reviews.

Techno-Commercial Activities
- Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Production, Purchase, and Quality teams for costing.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations based on customer drawings and specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms, and payment conditions.
- Follow up with customers for quotation approval and order conversion.

Project Coordination
- Ensure seamless project handover
