Key Responsibilities Warehouse Setup & Infrastructure
- Plan and execute the complete warehouse setup from scratch.
- Design an effective warehouse layout for storage, movement, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Plan storage locations, racks, bins, material movement areas and loading/unloading zones.
- Coordinate for warehouse equipment, racks, pallets, handling equipment and other infrastructure.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available warehouse space.
- Establish proper safety, security and housekeeping standards.

Inventory & Material Management
- Establish systems for receiving, inwarding, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches system stock.
- Implement proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Identify and control damaged, slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure proper identification, tagging and location management of materials.

Team Management
- Recruit, train and manage warehouse staff, including supervisors, storekeepers,



loaders and dispatch personnel.
- Define responsibilities, KRAs and performance standards for the warehouse team.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity and work allocation.
- Conduct regular team briefings and training.
- Build a performance-driven and accountable warehouse team.

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of machinery, spare parts, components and other materials.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Production, Accounts, Technical and Transporters.
- Plan daily dispatch schedules based on business priorities.
- Ensure proper packing and documentation before dispatch.
- Track dispatches and coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery.

Safety, Security & Compliance
- Ensure strict warehouse safety protocols.
- Maintain proper access control and material security.
