Location: State of Tamil Nadu and Kerala

Reports to: CSO - Chief Sales Officer

Experience: 12-15+ years in B2B steel sales, with 3-5 years in leadership

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Head of Sales to lead our steel business growth. Youll own the full sales P&L;, build relationships with distributors and infra developers, drive volume and margin for TMT bars

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Growth - Own annual sales targets, pricing strategy and P&L; - Drive volume in Trade and Project sale of TMT bars

2. Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Sales Officers and dealers - Set KPIs, run forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance coaching - Build a sales culture focused on discipline, customer obsession, and accountability

3. Customer & Market Development - Manage small and large distributors, major projects - Develop dealer/distributor network across Tamil Nadu and in future Kerala

4. Commercial & Operations - Work with production, logistics, and finance to ensure on-time delivery,



credit control, and working capital efficiency - Monitor steel price trends, competitor moves, and raw material impact to adjust pricing

5. Strategy - Build go-to-market plans to enter unrepresented markets - Use CRM and data to track conversion and ensure market share improvement - Collaborate with marketing on brand building and lead generation

Education: Experience: 12+ years in steel/steel products/construction materials sales
- Proven track record of managing large dealer network, project sales - Deep understanding of steel pricing, inventory management, and credit risk
- Robust negotiation skills with contractors, traders, and corporate buyers
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India
