Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead and expand Bureau Veritas's Product Testing & Certification Services business in the Consumer Electronics segment from our Pune Location . This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to drive significant revenue growth, build and mentor a high-performing regional sales team, and establish BV as the preferred testing and certification partner for electronics manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and importers across India and the South Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to capture and expand market share in consumer electronics testing and certification across India and South Asia
- Identify and pursue current business opportunities with OEMs, contract manufacturers (CMOs/ODMs), importers, retailers, and e-commerce platforms




- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and strategic accounts
- Establish competitive pricing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts aligned with BV's service portfolio
- Stay current with emerging consumer electronics trends, product categories, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics in India and APAC
- Represent BV at industry forums, trade shows, and business events to build brand presence and generate leads

Product & Service Expertise
- Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of BV's testing and certification service offerings:
- Safety Testing: IEC, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), and international safety standards
- EMC Testing: Electromagnetic Compatibility per IEC, FCC, CE, and Indian regulations
- Environmental Testing: Temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, and reliability testing
- Chemical Compliance: RoHS, REACH, SVHC, Phthalates, and India-specific material regulations
