Job Summary

Join Standard Chartered as a Principal Engineer having 10+ years of experience and take on the excellent opportunity to provide end-to-end technical leadership for Payment Transaction Remediation (PTR ) across our diverse payments platform workstreams.

This pivotal role engages with Workstreams 1 through 5, driving innovation and architectural integrity within a complex, cross-market environment that spans 22 markets and incorporates six distinct payment rails. You will be entrusted with owning critical architecture decisions,



specifically focusing on the remediation scopes within Workstream 2 releases 5 to 10 and the anomaly detection systems in Workstream 4.

As a seasoned qualified, you will ensure that all delivery efforts are technically executable, risk-managed, and aligned consistently across multiple geographies and technologies.This is a strategic role requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and an acute understanding of payments domain architecture to influence long-term technology roadmaps and stabilisation strategies within a regulated banking landscape.
