About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer to manage and maintain plant machinery, equipment, and utilities while ensuring maximum equipment availability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. The role requires a proactive professional with solid troubleshooting abilities, preventive maintenance expertise, and experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Plant & Equipment Maintenance
- Responsible for maintenance of all plant machinery, equipment, and utilities.
- Perform breakdown maintenance and ensure minimum machine downtime.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues affecting production.
Production Support
- Support manufacturing operations in achieving targets related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity, and Morale.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Review machine performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
TPM & Continuous Improvement
- Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives across the plant.
- Support BIQ, Zero Customer Complaints (Zero COC), and continuous improvement activities.
- Identify and implement productivity enhancement and cost-reduction projects.
- Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and operational excellence initiatives.
Team Management
- Allocate maintenance activities through job cards and standard work instructions.
