Key Responsibilities • Coordinate with transport vendors/truckers to schedule dispatch from the plant and supply pickup points, across regions not limited to one area. • Track every dispatch — vehicle, route, ETA, proof of delivery — in Google Sheets, updated same-day. • Log freight cost per trip and keep landed-cost data accurate for sales quoting. • Own and actively bring down transport cost over time — negotiate better vendor rates, consolidate loads, optimize routes, and cut empty or inefficient runs. Reducing per-trip and per-kg freight cost is a core measure of success in this role. • Meet agreed monthly/quarterly targets on freight cost and on-time delivery — this is a core, tracked part of the role. • Flag delivery delays, vendor no-shows, or cost overruns to Operations and Sales immediately. • Maintain and grow a reliable base of transport vendors across Walbha's operating regions; renegotiate rates periodically. • Reconcile transport vendor invoices against logged trips before payment approval. • Coordinate with the sales team so transport capacity is booked ahead of confirmed volumes, not reactively.
