Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Developer Experience (DevX) team, focusing on manual and automated testing for ARCore and XR projects. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience and a solid background in testing AR/VR applications and devices.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of features across AR/VR applications and hardware.
- Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution, ensuring high-quality releases.
- Review user interfaces for functionality and conformity to design standards.
- Collaborate with test engineering teams to understand technical architecture and feature implementation.
- Manage and maintain test loaned hardware, including weekly inventory reports.

Basic Qualifications
- Education:



BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, Java, or Python; experience with Unix/Linux or Windows.
- QA Expertise: Strong background in manual testing, bug reporting, and debugging.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing mobile and VR/AR devices.

Ability to gather test requirements and define quality metrics.

Familiarity with test automation tools and script maintenance.
