Job Description
We are looking for a Backend AI Engineer to join our product engineering team and help build AI-powered capabilities across our products. You will work at the intersection of backend engineering and applied AI, building production-grade features using Large Language Models (LLMs) and related technologies. This includes conversational assistants,
AI integrations, MCP servers, agentic workflows,
intelligent automation, and other LLM- powered product experiences.
This is primarily an engineering role focused on applying existing AI/LLM technologies within production products, rather than training foundation models or conducting ML research.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and APIs powering AI/LLM-based product features.
- Build conversational assistants and other LLM-powered user experiences.
- Develop agentic workflows involving tool usage, multi-step reasoning, orchestration, and external systems.
- Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients where appropriate.
- Integrate products with commercial and open-source LLMs and AI platforms.
- Build workflows that combine LLMs with internal APIs, databases, search systems, and third-party services.
- Implement retrieval and contextual grounding mechanisms where required.
