Assistant Restaurant Manager (AGM)

Experience: 6–7 years | Reports to: Restaurant General Manager

Role Overview
The AGM supports the RGM in running daily operations smoothly, with a stronger focus on floor execution, team supervision, and day-to-day process discipline.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the RGM in managing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service delivery
- Supervise team performance on the floor; assist with training and onboarding of recent staff
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed consistently during shifts
- Assist with inventory checks, indenting, and waste tracking under RGM guidance
- Monitor billing accuracy and PoS operations during shifts; flag discrepancies to RGM
- Support kitchen coordination during service to ensure timely, quality output
- Handle cash and petty cash for assigned shifts with accountability




- Ensure restaurant cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout service hours

Skills Required
- Experience in team supervision, inventory reporting, indenting, waste management, billing, and POS systems
- Bartending knowledge is a bonus
- Good communication skills; comfortable coordinating between kitchen and service teams
