Job Summary

We are looking for a
dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager
to lead our wholesale food distribution business in Kinshasa, DRC.

The ideal candidate will have
robust knowledge of the Kinshasa and wider DRC wholesale market
, an established network of
wholesalers and distributors
, and a proven track record of driving sales growth within the
FMCG/Food industry
.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through wholesale and distribution channels.
- Develop and expand the customer base across Kinshasa and other key regions of DRC.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, and institutional customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve business objectives.




- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Prepare sales forecasts, sales reports, and market intelligence for management.
- Coordinate closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product deliveries.
- Develop effective sales strategies to strengthen distribution coverage and maximize revenue growth.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
.
- 5–8 years of wholesale sales experience
in Kinshasa, DRC, preferably within the FMCG/Food industry.
- Proven experience selling
food products through wholesale and distribution channels
, rather than primarily through retail.
- Strong understanding of the
DRC food market and distribution network
.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience managing and developing sales teams is highly preferred.
