QA Automation Engineer – Playwright & TypeScript

Job Description

We are looking for a
QA Automation Engineer
with strong experience in
Playwright, TypeScript/Java, API automation, and CI/CD
to build scalable automation frameworks and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain
Playwright + TypeScript
automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Automate regression and recent feature testing across critical business flows.
- Build reusable
Page Objects, API clients, fixtures, and utilities
.
- Integrate automation with
Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
, or similar tools.
- Implement parallel execution, retries, reporting, and cross-browser testing.
- Investigate production issues and convert defects into automated regression tests.
- Identify flaky tests and coverage gaps and continuously improve test reliability.




- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor team members and promote automation best practices.

Requirements
- 1+ years of QA Automation experience
.
- Strong hands-on experience with
Playwright and TypeScript/Java
.
- Experience with
Selenium, Appium, JUnit/TestNG
, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of
API testing
using Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright.
- Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Exposure to
performance, load, and security testing
.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
