The chance

Script Assist is looking for a
Deputy Head of Finance
who combines broad Financial Controller / Head of Finance capability with genuinely deep, hands-on
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
experience.

Business Central experience is essential for this role.

We are particularly interested in candidates currently or previously working as:
- Financial Controller
- Finance Controller
- Head of Finance
- Head of Accounts
- Finance Manager
- Senior Finance Manager
- Deputy Head of Finance

You will work alongside our existing finance leadership and CEO, helping us build a highly controlled, scalable and technology-enabled finance function as the business grows.

This is a senior role, but it is also
very hands-on
.

You need to be comfortable moving from reviewing management accounts or advising the CEO to investigating a balance-sheet reconciliation,



understanding a Business Central posting issue or improving an accounting process yourself.

⚙️ Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

This is one of the most important requirements for the role.

We are
not
looking merely for someone who worked at a company that happened to use Business Central.

We want someone who has personally used
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC / Business Central)
deeply within a finance function.

You may have been:
- A senior Business Central finance user
- A finance superuser
- Finance-side owner of a Business Central implementation
- Finance lead during an ERP migration
- Responsible for improving or configuring Business Central finance processes
- Responsible for controls, reporting or workflows within Business Central

Your hands-on Business Central experience may include:
- General Ledger
- Chart of Accounts
- Dimensions
- Posting Groups
- Journals
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank Reconcilia
