Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled
Fortinet Pre-Sales Engineer & Product Technical Specialist
to support our
distribution business
. The role focuses on
technical pre-sales
,
partner enablement
, and
customer engagement
across the
Fortinet portfolio
.

The candidate will work closely with
distribution-managed partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers
, providing technical expertise, solution design support, and enablement to drive Fortinet adoption and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering
- Act as a technical SME for the Fortinet security portfolio, including:
- FortiGate (NGFW)
- FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer
- FortiSwitch & FortiAP
- FortiEDR, FortiClient, FortiSIEM (as applicable)
- Support pre-sales activities such as:
- Requirement gathering and technical discovery
- Solution architecture and design
- Technical presentations, demos, and POCs
- Assist sales teams with:
- RFP/RFI responses
- BOM creation and solution size
- Licensing and subscription guidance

Partner & Customer Engagement
- Participate in:




- Distribution Managed Partner Round Tables
- Partner Round Tables
- Customer Round Tables
- Engage directly with partners and customers to position Fortinet solutions effectively.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales lifecycle.

Training, Enablement & Onboarding
- Deliver partner enablement and training sessions on Fortinet solutions.
- Support new partner onboarding, ensuring technical readiness and alignment with Fortinet best practices.
- Conduct Fast Track trainings and technical workshops.
- Help partners prepare for and achieve Fortinet NSE certifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, demo labs, and enablement material.

Collaboration & Vendor Interaction
- Work closely with:
- Internal sales and product teams
- Fortinet vendor technical and channel teams
- Stay updated with Fortinet product roadmap, current releases, and security trends.
