Role Overview
LPL Financial is seeking a Consumption Data Product Owner to lead product ownership for consumption-facing data capabilities. This role focuses on how enterprise data is discovered, understood, accessed, and used by downstream consumers across applications, analytics platforms, advisor experiences, operations, partners, and enterprise reporting.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Data Product Ownership, Consumer Enablement, and Data Analysis.



The Consumption DPO is expected to operate as a true Product Manager, with the ability to look ahead, define a clear product strategy, build and maintain a roadmap, and align stakeholders around measurable business outcomes.

The Consumption DPO helps translate consumer needs into data product capabilities by defining use cases, prioritizing demand, shaping data access patterns, and ensuring requirements are clear, testable, and aligned to enterprise data platform direction.

The ideal candidate combines product management discipline, robust analytical skills, data fluency, and stakeholder leadership. This person should be comfortable working across upstream systems of record, platform services, data distribution capabilities, and downstream consumers to make data easier to consume, trust, and reuse.
