RINA is currently recruiting for a Section Engineer - Fabrication Erection to join its office in Jaipur/Pan India within the Civil Engineering Division.
Mission
The role is focuses on managing construction activities to ensure they adhere to project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, envirnomental issues and are completed on time and within budget by coordinating the work of construction teams and subcontractors.
Key Accountabilities
Project Development: Develop construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to design, specifications, and applicable regulations.
Document Review: Review accountable documents and prepare official deliverables vs Contractor.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain the highest construction quality standards.
Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress. Identify and address delays or issues that may impact project timelines.
Resource Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers,
and internal teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources, materials, and equipment.
Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures and provide input on cost control measures to keep projects within budget.
Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the Construction Safety Senior Engineer to ensure all work is performed in adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction.
Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments, issues, and proposed solutions.
Contractor Claims Management: Support the principal engineer in managing Contractor claims.
Change Management: Handle changes in project scope, schedule, or design. Ensure that all necessary adjustments are communicated and implemented.
