Job Title: Senior Associate / Assistant Manager – Private Equity

Location: Bangalore ELECTRONIC CITY

Work Timings: US Shift (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM)

About the Role

Join our client-facing Fund Services team catering to global Hedge Fund, Private Equity, and Debt Fund clients. In this role, you will manage complex fund structures across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions, delivering specialized accounting services.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Fund Structures & Hierarchies: Deep knowledge of Private Equity/Debt fund structures, Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), standalone funds, master-feeder funds, and the role of each entity.
- - Investor & Class Structures: Understanding of investor classes, GP class, carry class, and affiliated vs. non-affiliated classes.
- - Capital Activities & Closings: Record investor commitments and manage accounting for initial, subsequent, and late closings. Process capital activities including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches. Prepare call/distribution notices, wire details, and master-feeder capital transactions.
- - Accounting & NAV Calculation: Book trading and non-trading transactions and finalize books of accounts. Prepare monthly/quarterly NAV workbooks, economic allocations, P&L; rebalancing, and apply European and American waterfall methods.
- - Fees & Carried Interest:



Calculate management fees across various periods, preferred returns, and carried interest.
- - Metrics & Financial Reporting: Apply key performance metrics including IRR, TWR, and Investment Multiples. Handle investor reporting, fund-level reporting, and ILPA reporting.
- - Client & Asset Management: Interact with clients on accounting and operational issues. Understand operations and accounting for Bank Debts, TRS, MBS, and CLO instruments.

Qualifications & Profile

- Education: Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting, or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- - Experience: 5–10 years in the Financial Services / Capital Markets industry, with a minimum of 4+ years specifically in Private Equity / Financial Reporting.
- - Global Exposure: Experience working across country lines in a global, multinational organization (preferably a matrix structure).
- - Skills & Attributes:
- - Proven track record in organizational change within a fast-paced environment.
- - Proactive team player with a positive attitude, ready to tackle dynamic challenges.
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
