About the Role

n

Cygnus Advertising is looking for a creative and experienced Graphic Designer & Video Editor with strong skills in both Graphic Design and Video Editing.

n

The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for social media, advertising campaigns, digital platforms, branding, and other client communication requirements.

n

The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of handling projects independently from concept to final output.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Create designs for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, brochures, presentations, banners, and other marketing materials.
n
- Develop creative concepts and visual layouts based on client requirements.
n
- Edit videos, reels, promotional videos, and other digital content.
n
- Create engaging short-form video content for social media platforms.
n
- Work with the creative, content, PR, and client servicing teams.
n
- Make design and video revisions based on feedback.
n
- Ensure all creative work is completed within deadlines and meets quality standards.
n
- Stay updated with current design, video, social media, and AI-based creative trends.
n

Required Skills

Mandatory:

n

- Adobe Photoshop – Advanced
n
- Adobe Illustrator – Advanced
n
- Adobe Premiere Pro – Good working knowledge
n
- Adobe After Effects – Added advantage
n
- Adobe InDesign – Advanced
n
- Motion Graphics
n
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout, composition,



and visual communication
n
- Good understanding of video editing, transitions, sound, captions, and basic motion graphics
n
- Knowledge of social media formats and content trends
n

Candidate Profile

n

n
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Graphic Design and Video Editing.
n
- Degree/Diploma from a recognized Art College Background
n
- Advertising agency or creative agency experience will be preferred.
n
- Strong creative thinking and visual sense.
n
- Good communication and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.
n
- Comfortable working independently as well as with a team.
n
- Willing to work on-site at the Kharagpur location.
n

Portfolio Requirement

n

A portfolio is mandatory.

n

Candidates should submit relevant samples of both Graphic Design and Video Editing work along with their CV. Applications without a relevant portfolio may not be considered.
