About the Role

/n

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting operations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with Quick Books and a solid understanding of accounting best practices.

Experience with US GAAP and tax filing is highly desirable.

This position is best suited for accounting professionals who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

/n
Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting functions.

/n
Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and financial records.

/n
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.

/n
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

/n
Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.

/n
Conduct bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.

/n




Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

/n
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

/n
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders.

/n
Assist with tax preparation, tax filing, and regulatory compliance activities.

/n
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.

/n

Required Qualifications

/n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

/n
10+ years of proven accounting and bookkeeping experience.

/n
Solid hands-on experience with Quick Books (Mandatory).

/n
Deep understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes.

/n
Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations.

/n
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

/n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

/n
Robust written and verbal communication skills.

/n

Preferred Qualifications

/n
Knowledge of US GAAP .

/n
Experience with US tax filing and compliance requirements .

/n
Experience supporting US-based clients or businesses.

/n
CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
