Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to own outbound prospecting for Freshworks' product suite. You will identify, research, and engage target accounts across global markets (EMEA & APAC), working closely with Sales Managers and Account Executives to build a healthy, qualified pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
Drive outbound prospecting across email, Linked In, and cold calling to generate qualified meetings/opportunities
Research target accounts and buyer personas to craft personalized, relevant outreach
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria




Collaborate with Sales Managers and AEs to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach cadences
Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly pipeline generation targets
Use sales engagement and prospecting tools such as Apollo. Io, Instantly, and Linked In Sales Navigator
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospect and account activity in CRM
Stay current on Freshworks' product offerings and competitive landscape to speak credibly with prospects

Eligibility Criteria
6 months to 1 year of proven experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role (B2B SaaS preferred)
Robust verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on experience with prospecting/sales engagement tools (Apollo. Io, Instantly, Linked In Sales Navigator, or similar)
Working knowledge of CRM tools
Comfortable engaging with international prospects across EMEA, APAC.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with outbound cold outreach
Willingness to work full time from our Chennai office
