Accountant

Job Location: Beleghata, Kolkata

Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM

Industry: Textile Handloom Trading

Experience: 2 – 5 years

Job Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries.
Handle GST related work, including GST calculation and return preparation.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction and related records.
Prepare and maintain BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statement).
Generate E-Way Bills and maintain proper records.
Manage purchase, sales, receipts, payments and journal entries.
Reconcile bank, customer and supplier accounts.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Support in monthly closing and basic financial reporting.

Candidate Requirements
2–5 years of experience as an Accountant.
Experience in Textile / Handloom Trading industry preferred.
Must have practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Bookkeeping,



BRS and E-Way Bill generation.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally.
Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
Candidates who can independently handle routine accounting work will be preferred.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
