Role Overview An Architectural Model Maker is responsible for building precise and visually compelling physical models that represent architectural designs at various stages—from concept to presentation. These models are used for client presentations, design validation, exhibitions, and competitions.

Key Responsibilities
Translate architectural drawings, BIM/CAD files, and sketches into detailed physical

models
Produce concept, massing, and highly detailed presentation models at different scales
Work with materials such as foam board, acrylic, wood, cardboard, plaster, and resins
Use digital fabrication tools like laser cutters, CNC machines, and 3D printers
Collaborate closely with architects and design teams to ensure accuracy and design intent
Apply finishes including landscaping, lighting, textures, and human-scale detailing
Manage model timelines aligned with project deadlines and submissions
Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and safety protocols
Assist in transporting and installing models for client presentations or exhibitions

Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Model Making, Industrial Design, or related field




Strong understanding of architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations)
Knowledge of scale, proportions, and construction detailing
Hands-on experience with model-making materials and fabrication techniques
Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit (basic to intermediate)
Familiarity with laser cutting files and 3D printing workflows
High level of precision, patience.

Studio/workshop setting within an architectural firm or specialized model-making studio

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
