Role Description The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting tutorials, and guiding students in their chosen discipline, following the college’s academic curriculum and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing course materials, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves mentoring students, supporting research activities, participating in academic committees, and contributing to departmental meetings and curriculum development.

Qualifications
Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s or Ph.D.) in the discipline of appointment from a recognized university, with strong academic credentials.
Demonstrated teaching abilities, including lesson planning, classroom delivery, student engagement, and fair, transparent evaluation practices.
Research orientation with interest in publishing academic work, participating in conferences, and contributing to projects or grants.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and administrative staff.
Familiarity with academic regulations, outcome-based education, and basic use of educational technology, LMS platforms, and productivity tools.
Commitment to student welfare, ethical conduct, inclusive teaching practices, and continuous improvement in pedagogy.
Prior teaching or industry experience in relevant fields is an advantage.
