Role: BA - Payments Domin

Experience: 6 to 10 years

Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Translate regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, HLD, user stories, process flows, and data mappings.
Conduct gap analysis between current systems and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on exposure and working knowledge of the following regulatory frameworks:

Basel III / Basel IV CRR / CRD IV / V

Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)

Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)

Capital Adequacy (RWA, CET1, Tier 1, Tier 2)
Perform data lineage, data sourcing, and reconciliation across systems.
Work with large datasets and perform impact analysis for regulatory changes.
Work with IT teams to design scalable reporting solutions.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning.
Define acceptance criteria using Given-When-Then (Gherkin) format.
Support SIT/UAT execution, defect tracking, and resolution.
Validate regulatory reports before submission.
Act as a liaison between business and technology teams.




Communicate complex regulatory concepts in a clear and structured manner.
Provide regular project updates and documentation.
Solid understanding of: Capital calculations (RWA, Leverage Ratio), Liquidity metrics (LCR, NSFR), Regulatory reporting requirements
Knowledge of financial products: Derivatives, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange (FX), Equities, Securities, Loans etc
Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) settings.
Technical Skills:
SQL for data analysis and validation
Experience with regulatory reporting tools/platforms (e.g., Axiom, Moody's, Wolters Kluwer)
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
Business Analysis Skills:
Requirement elicitation
Process modelling (BPMN, flowcharts)
Data mapping and lineage documentation
Soft Skills:
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in regulatory submissions
Ability to work under tight regulatory deadlines
