Job Summary

We are seeking an in-house Civil Engineer to support project planning, cost estimation, and coordination activities. The role primarily involves assisting the project architect in technical coordination, preparation of BOQs, quantity take-offs, and overseeing project progress through documentation and periodic site reviews. The position is largely office-based with limited site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for projects.
Assist in quantity surveying (QS) tasks including cost comparisons, measurement verification, and contractor billing review.
Support the Project Architect in technical coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Review drawings and ensure alignment between architectural, structural, and service drawings.
Monitor project progress through documentation, reports, and coordination with site teams.
Assist in preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Review contractor submissions, material specifications,



and shop drawings where required.
Conduct periodic site visits to review progress and ensure work is in line with drawings and specifications.
Maintain project records, estimates, and cost tracking sheets.

Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction, estimation, or quantity surveying.

Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and basic cost estimation.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools.
Understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost components.
Positive coordination and communication skills.
Organized approach to documentation and reporting.

Job Types: Full time, Fresher Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
